Since the most essential part of a flavor or fragrances consists of its volatile compounds the method of choice for analyses of such complex mixtures is gas chromatography coupled with mass spectroscopy (GC/MS). We use this technology for research and quality control of raw materials and complex compositions.
Batch samples of raw materials, fragrance oils and flavors produced in large or laboratory scale are kept under controlled conditions at 5°C in the dark and in tightly sealed full containers for three years. The production and analytical reports are saved for more than 10 years.
